I will not get into the nitty gritty of my labor and delivery… no one wants to hear that, but it was a complicated one, mainly because of the injuries I suffered from my car accident last February. Because I have a rod in my sacrum, the epidural was unable to reach certain parts of my body, you can draw your own conclusions from there.
Luke will be one month old this week, and it has taken me this long to sit down to blog. It’s been a busy month trying to learn how to be a mom. Luke is such a great baby. He only cries when he’s hungry. He sleeps a lot, but of course, not in one long stretch. He is up for an hour and then will sleep for 2, 3, or 4 hours. But, I’m starting to get into a routine with him.
Our families are so in love with Luke, and so are we. Bud thinks Luke looks just like him… naturally. We have already made a road trip to Arkansas to introduce Luke to Jeff’s family. He traveled very well 6 hours there, and 6 hours back.
