I absolutely love hosting parties at our home. I wish I could do it more often, but with so many children…birthday parties and Christmas seem to be the extent of our party planning, for now.
We really wanted to have a Derby Day party next weekend, as we say every year and every year Derby Day seems to sneak up on us so quickly! So this year we are skipping the Derby and looking ahead to Eden’s birthday party in June.
We haven’t hosted a birthday party for her in a couple years, because we were out of town last summer but this year is different. We are in town and she is requesting a very special Little Mermaid party complete with an Ariel piñata. Think The Little Mermaid meets the Three Caballeros (her two current favorite movies!).
There is only place I turn to when I’m looking for party invitations, and that’s Paperless Post I’ve used other online greeting companies before, but I love the simplicity of Paperless Post and their beautifully illustrated designs. You can find the perfect greeting for any occassion on this company’s website.
Paperless Post has partnered with several world-famous designers and lifestyle brands, including Kate Spade New York, Oscar De La Renta, Jonathan Adler, and Rifle Paper Co., and so much more. Paperless Post has delivered over 85 million cards to date. WHOA!
I’ve used Paperless Post for the last 4 years and have never been disappointed. It’s so easy to manage. Simply, log on to Paperless Post and search the dozens of categories like: Graduation, Birthday, Wedding, Parties, Professional or Greetings. There are even specific sub-categories like “Birthdays for Her” and “Bachelorette Parties”. Or you can just enter what you’re looking for in the search box, such as “Mermaid Birthday”.
For Eden, I was able to find 30+ different designs for her upcoming Mermaid birthday. Paperless Post saves previous invitees making the guest list easy to remember.
Once your design is selected, you can customize it any way you’d like to include the details of your upcoming gathering. You can change the font, size and text. You can also request to see a preview of what your invitation will look like as a recipient would. Some designs are completely free and some do require coins…but like most online greeting companies, the cost is minimal to help you stay within your party’s budget.
Another feature I enjoy is the guest list and being able to tell which invitations were delivered and opened. This is helpful if you have a great-aunt Betty who may not be savvy with technology, you can then give her a call if she hasn’t opened her invite. I do have a family member like this…. no, she is not a great-aunt Betty. HA!
Paperless Post will also send out reminders about your gathering which are completely customizable for your needs.
I highly suggest you consider Paperless Post for any kind of party, gathering, or greeting in your near future… I promise, you will not be disappointed!
