Fall Cocktails

Okay, okay, I realize it’s not officially fall yet…but since today is Labor Day, I think it’s time to get our mindset toward the cooler weather and apple cider / pumpkin everything!

Today I wanted to share with you three of my favorite Fall Cocktails (and one final summer drink too!).

Pumpkin Spice Martini

Total time: 5 minutes
Serves 1
Ingredients:
  • 2 oz Buckeye Vodka
  • 2 Teaspoons Pumpkin Puree
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 2 oz Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • Pinch of pumpkin pie spice
How to Make:
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Add pumpkin puree, simple syrup, vodka, Bailey’s, and pumpkin pie spice; shake for about 30 seconds.
  3. Pour into chilled martini glass.

Cranny Smith

Total time: 25 minutes
Serves: 1
Ingredients:
  • 2 oz Vodka
  • 2 oz Cranberry Juice1.5 oz Apple Cider
  • 1 oz Cinnamon Simple Syrup*
How to Make:
  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker. Shake and strain over ice.
  2. Can also make the cranberry, apple cider cinnamon mixture warm to serve as a warm cocktail.
CINNAMON SIMPLE SYRUP
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
How to Make:
  1. Add sugar and water to a small pot over medium high heat.
  2. Once sugar has dissolved turn off heat and add cinnamon stick. Steep for 20 minutes.
  3. Once cooled, take out cinnamon stick and pour syrup into an airtight container and store in fridge.

Mull it Over

Total time: 25 minutes
Serves: 1
Ingredients:


• 
1.5 oz Buckeye Vodka
• 3 oz Pear Juice
• ½ oz Mulled Wine Syrup*

How to Make:
  1. Add vodka and pear juice to a shaker. Shake and strain over ice.
  2. Drizzle ½ oz of wine syrup over top as a delicious spiced float.
MULLED WINE SYRUP
Ingredients:
  • 2 cup red wine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 winter spiced tea bags
  • Peel of one orange
How to Make:
  1. Add wine and sugar and orange peel to a small pot over medium high heat.
  2. Stir to help dissolve sugar. Once mixture is at a low boil add tea bags and turn off heat.
  3. Allow mixture to steep for 20 minutes. Strain out tea bags and orange peel.

Keep in an airtight container in the fridge


Watermelon PUNCH Cocktail

Total time: 5 minutes
Serves: 1
Ingredients:
  • 5 oz of VIVE Sunrise PUNCH or any seltzer drink you’d like
  • 2 oz of Buckeye Vodka
  • 2 oz of Watermelon Juice
  • 1 oz of lemon juice
  • Lemon (for garnish)
Directions: 
  1. Pour VIVE Sunrise PUNCH in glass over ice.
  2. Add all other ingredients into a shaker, with ice, and shake until chilled.
  3. Strain into your glass with VIVE Sunrise PUNCH.
  4. Top with VIVE Sunrise PUNCH as needed, garnish with a lemon in your cup and on the rim – enjoy!
