Hello! I’m Shanisty, I’m a wife and mother of four small hooligans, with one more on the way due August, 2022. Before I started collecting children (totally kidding), I spent a decade of my life behind the news desk and chasing stories in the field as a TV News Anchor. I still freelance on local and national TV outlets weekly, but now I’m sharing my favorite recipes from the comfort of my own chaotic kitchen.
Our family moved many times during my TV News career. From West Virginia to Birmingham to Lexington to Savannah…we finally landed in my hometown of Columbus, Ohio. We will stay in Columbus, until the children fly from the nest.

March 12, 2016 at 7:30 pmWe’ve led parallel lives. I worked in TV for 10 years, mostly reporting. I had my children 16 months apart and moved five times in five years. We left the traditional south for Florida. Thought I’d say hello again. Came back after reading your #soblessed post. 😀
